I believe the essence of a happy and fulfilling life is to live a value based life. Values help you understand how you want to be in the world and these values will help to sustain and guide you in the challenges that we will all face in life.

It seems that everywhere we look in society we receive strong messages that we must always be happy or have that perfect life which is reinforced via social media. Life in fact is a range of thoughts, feeling and emotions, some more pleasant than others. Experiencing the full range of these thoughts, feelings and emotion is a part of living and it would be very limiting to ones personal growth if we did not experience all of these emotions.

Every moment of our lives we are faced with choices. Usually when we make choices that are aligned to our values, life can be that little bit easier but we make choices that are not aligned to our values, life can seem that much more difficult.
